Applicants are screened for Grade 12 or GED, at least a Class 5 driver’s licence, a suitable driving record and work history, and experience working with the public. (source)

Bus operator written tests usually check three skills: reading a route map, knowing traffic signs (see the SGI Saskatchewan Driver’s Handbook: six basic sign shapes every driver must know), and knowing where major Regina landmarks are.
