What to practise

Bus operator written tests usually check three skills: reading a route map, knowing traffic signs (see the Official MTO Driver’s Handbook: signs), and knowing where major Brampton landmarks are.

Landmarks worth knowing

Learn the street, not just the name. Passengers ask which bus goes to a hospital or campus, and the useful answer starts with the street it’s on.
